What is Rotary ?

Rotary is a worldwide organisation of business, professional and community leaders.

For more than one hundred years, ordinary people around the world have been giving to humanity through Rotary International. Rotary's main aim is Service Above Self - supporting those in need in our home country and throughout the world.

The magic of Rotary is that it allows ordinary people to achieve the most extraordinary things. By using the powerful synergy of one, people unite to achieve exceptional global change. Many ordinary members of Rotary have developed projects that brought significant change to the world.

Here in Australia there are 34,070 Rotarians in 1183 clubs. Around the world we have 1,210,047 Rotarians in 32,774 clubs

Our district (Number 9780) has 59 clubs and 1800 members. The District Governor is Stephen Lamont (Kardinia) and the District Secretary is Rod Greer (Ocean Grove).

Our Board

Our Board members will work hard to support Marion and Pearl in their roles and come with their own wide range of skills and experience.
