Are you interested in helping your community?   Become a Friend of Rotary

Becoming a Friend of Rotary gives you an opportunity to join in Rotary community projects without the commitment of joining a Rotary club.​ If you are someone who would like to put something back into your community but may not have the time or simply may not wish to commit to joining Rotary, then this may be for you.

 

Being a Friend of Rotary enables you to take part in Rotary projects and working bees, at times that suit you, without becoming a Rotarian.  You may also attend Rotary meetings if you wish.

 

By registering as a friend of the Ocean Grove Rotary Club you will have access to our website, which lists all meetings (including reports of our last meeting) and also current projects. You can select what you may wish to participate in, whether it is to attend a meeting and meet with like minded community workers or to register to join a working bee, it is completely up to you.

 

Guidelines:

1.      Friends of Rotary will receive an electronic notification of Rotary projects and jobs available for them to register as volunteers.

2.      A current Working with Children Card is required if you wish to work on youth projects.

3.      Friends of Rotary are covered by District’s insurance on Rotary projects when listed on the sign in sheet and a working bee roster.

4.      At present there is no cost to being a Friend of the Ocean Grove Rotary.

5.      Contact details for Friends of Rotary will be collected and stored according to our privacy policy.
