Acknowledgement of Country

This website contains stories of towns established on the land of the Bengalat balug of the Wadawurrung people. We acknowledge them as the Traditional Owners of these lands and pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and Aboriginal Elders of other communities who read these stories.

Garry Spry

Garry Spry has served his community well in public life. Serving  on the Queenscliff Council,  Victorian member of Parliament for the Bellarine and as president of the Queenscliff Mueum committee.
In this interview he shares his memories of growing up on the family property Soho in Drysdale, the laying of the sewerage in Queenscliff and the formation of the Quuenscliff Historical Museum.
