Across Ocean Grove, local residents have transformed ordinary nature strips into thriving native habitat through a wonderful project led by Ocean Grove Coastcare, with support from the Rotary Club of Ocean Grove and Geelong and District Rotary. The project is creating habitat for local wildlife, improving our streetscapes and showing what can be achieved when community organisations and volunteers work together. Not all Rotary projects are grand, glamorous or complicated. Members of the Rotary Club of Ocean Grove recently delivered new socks and underwear to the Lazarus Community Centre in Geelong. They are ordinary items most of us barely think about. But when someone is experiencing homelessness or hardship, access to clean underwear and socks cannot be taken for granted. These basics matter. They support hygiene, comfort and dignity. Lazarus provides a safe and welcoming place for
