Socks and Jocks

Not all Rotary projects are grand, glamorous or complicated.

Members of the Rotary Club of Ocean Grove recently delivered new socks and underwear to the Lazarus Community Centre in Geelong.

They are ordinary items most of us barely think about. But when someone is experiencing homelessness or hardship, access to clean underwear and socks cannot be taken for granted.

These basics matter. They support hygiene, comfort and dignity.

Lazarus provides a safe and welcoming place for people experiencing homelessness, disadvantage or social isolation. Its practical support includes meals, showers, laundry facilities, clothing and connections to other services.
