Devastating flooding in Nepal has destroyed homes, roads, bridges and essential infrastructure, leaving communities facing an enormous recovery effort.
Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) has established the Nepal Flooding Disaster Relief Fund to help coordinate assistance from Rotarians and the wider community.
Funds raised will support Rotary projects and Rotary Clubs in Nepal assisting families and communities affected by the disaster, including those who have lost homes, possessions and livelihoods. Damage to water and sanitation infrastructure has also created serious concerns about waterborne disease.
RAWCS will work through Rotary contacts in Nepal to help direct humanitarian assistance where it is needed.
Australian donations to the RAWCS appeal are tax deductible.
